About the Project
Olivia of the Occult is my current game in development – with development officially starting in July 2025.
It’s a 2D platformer built in Godot 4 using a lot of the knowledge obtained making my Commander Keen Mashup. It is inspired by old school platformers where story is second to gameplay, and skill is king.
You will initially play as Olivia, someone who dabbles in powers that she shouldn’t, and then Yttrith the Succubus, a powerful demon who is trying to restore order to the underworld.
Some ideas are still being experimented with and may be changed, but the list of features so far are as follows:
- 4 unique and colourful locations
- Crisp and dynamic movement
- 8 unique monsters
- Score attack / time trial mode




All In-house
Being a bit of a jack of all trades, I have created all the graphics, sound effects and music using various tools. There are no AI generated assets to be found.
